The Sarawak Malaysia My Second Home (S-MM2H) programme and the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme are the two main MM2H long-term resident programmes in Malaysia. Both programmes are efforts by the Malaysian government to enable foreigners who meet specific requirements to remain in Malaysia for the longest amount of time feasible while holding a passport with a renewable 5- or 10-year multiple-entry visa. They welcome visitors of all nationalities, regardless of colour, creed, or gender. The Malaysian government has specified certain personal and financial requirements that all primary applicants must meet. As dependents, they are permitted to bring their spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21.
